GTA 5 for PC on 27 January, 2015

 Grand Theft Auto V will arrive on PC on 27 January, 2015. This is a few months after the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One editions, both of which will appear this year, on 18 November.

Rockstar has also announced the following new features:

  • New weapons, vehicles and activities
  • Additional wildlife
  • Denser traffic
  • New foliage system
  • Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more
  • Finally, Grand Theft Auto Online is getting an increased player count. Rockstar says that the PS4 and Xbox One versions will support 30 players, but make no mention of the PC's total. Will it be higher still? Hopefully we'll find out soon.

SanDisk launches SD memory card with 512GB storage capacity

Flash memory company SanDisk recently introduced its Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I storage card, a storage device that can hold up to 512GB of data, and now is the highest-capacity SD card currently available. The card is designed for professional photographers and videographers working in 4K ultra-high definition work.


The card supports write speeds up to 90 MB/s, along with transfer speeds up to 95 MB/s for faster post-production transfers. The card is about the size of a postage stamp and will be available for around $800.

4K Ultra HD is an example of a technology that is pushing us to develop new storage solutions capable of handling massive file sizes," said Dinesh Bahal, SanDisk VP of product marketing, in a statent. The 512GB SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I card is a tremendous advancement that enables professionals to reliably store more content on a single card than ever before."

VU Brings Affordable 4K TVs to India

VU has launched 50-inch and 55-inch 4K TVs which it will be selling exclusively on Snapdeal. The 50-inch TV costs Rs. 89,900 while the 55-inch version is priced at Rs. 1,19,000

The company claims that they have integrated the world’s first quad-core graphics engines in their TV. This engine will assist in accelerated Ultra HD content delivery. The TVs can take the images from the set-top boxes and upscale it to give sharper, more detailed images.
